Script Part 2

SCENE 1 CONT.

EXT. WORLD B  NEW YORK - STREET

[Eva walks on the side walk, looking determined with a swagger filled with arrogance. People avoided her and guys stared at her in awe. She arrives at pub and nods to the bouncer. She walks inside and goes to the bar.]

EVA

My dad came in here. Where did he go?

BARTENDER

He's up in the back. Rocko is having a talk with him. 

[Eva smiles cruelly, then chuckles.]

EVA 

I guess I should say hi to Rocko while I'm here.

[Bartender shakes his head and jerks his thumb toward the door behind the pool tables and the tables. Eva walks past everything and through the door. She sees  a stair case and walks up it. She has a delighted look on her face as she hears screams.  At the top of the stairs she sees a hall and walks toward the door farthest on the right. She knocks and after waiting a moment Rocko opens the door.]

ROCKO

Eva glad you could make it. 

EVA

He called me you know what that means Rocko.

[Rocko nods and opens the door wider for Eva to walk through. Eva looks at the plain empty office. She sees her dad sitting on the floor with bruises covering his back and stomach. He looks up at her with a blank expression on his face while smoking a cigarette.]

FATHER

Finally you show up.

EVA 

You called me half an hour ago, I got here in pretty damn good time.

[Dad shrugs and held out his hand. Eva got the money from her pocket and threw it at him. He laughed.]

FATHER

Why Eva that wasn't very nice.

EVA 

Fuck you.

ROCKO

Eva babe come on he has what he wanted. 

FATHER

Listen to your Clyde darling. He knows how to get what he wants, just like me. 

[Eva laughs. Her dad looks at her blandly.]

EVA

No dad, I know how to get what I want. So with this get out of my life. I don't owe you shit anymore. 

[Dad smiles cruelly just as Eva had before, and takes a swig from his cigarette.]

FATHER

My mouth is shut.

[Eva and Rocko leave the office and walk down the hall.]

ROCKO

I can take him out.

EVA

Too many questions will be asked besides, I don't want anymore blood on your hands.

[Rocko looks over at her. Eva looks on ahead.]

EVA (V.O)

I wished I lived a life where blood never soaked my hands.

INT. WORLD A BOARDMAN OH ANGELS HOUSE- EVENING

[Angel sat on her couch eating gumbo with her dad while watching tv.]

ANGEL

This is great dad.

FATHER

Your mom made it better. No matter how hard I try can't get the same flavor as her. 

[He smiles fondly while Angel stares at her bowl of food emptily.]

FATHER

Angel baby? 

[Angel looks up and smiles.]

ANGEL

This tastes just like how mom made it. How can you think you can't match hers?

[He chuckles.]

FATHER

Well I remember her food better then you do. She pasted away when you where still a little kid after all.

ANGEL

I was 10, hardly that little. 

[He laughs.]

FATHER

Okay, okay. You weren't that little.

[Angel finishes her food then does the dishes. When she finishes she walks to her room and looks at her graduation gown laid out on her bed. She then looks to her deck top at another photo of her and her mom.]

ANGEL

I did it mom. I'm graduating tomorrow. 

ANGEL (V.O)

I wish you were here with me. 

CELL IN THE ABYSS

[Cyeon danced as he laughed gleefully.]

CYEON

Those poor girls! Those poor girls! One wishing for a clean slate, one wishing for her mother!

[He stopped and looked through the crack seeing Angel and Eva getting ready for bed and falling asleep shortly after.]

CYEON

Who say's I was never gracious? I will grant their wishes. It is, after all, what a god does. In exchange they will amuse me. They will have one month to switch back to their normal lives of course. A fighting chance on whether or not they like their new lives. 

[He sits and smiles crazily as he stared at their sleeping faces. A crack the same as the one in his cell appearing over each of them. His eye peeking through.]

CYEON

One month Evangeline Gautier. 

[Cyeon snaps his fingers.]

INT.  WORLD B NEW YORK EVA'S BEDROOM- MORNING

[Angel streached and rolled over and fell out of bed on the cold hard floor. Jumping up she stared in shock at her surroundings and starts screaming. Eva's mother runs through the door holding s frying pan.]

MOTHER

What-

[She looks at Angel  in confusion then suspicion.]

MOTHER

Eva? Is that you?

[Angel stares in shock at Eva's mother. Then tears fall from her eyes and she flings herself into Eva's mother.]

ANGEL

Mommy!

ANGEL (V.O)

She's real! She's real! 

INT. WORLD A BOARDMAN OH ANGELS'S BEDROOM - MORNING

[Eva is sleeping in Angel's bed under the covers. Kiara and Faythe burst open the door and Faythe jumps onto the bed. Shocking Eva awake.]

FAYTHE

Wake up! Wake up! We are graduating today!!

KIARA

Your going to crush her Faythe.

[Eva sits up.]

EVA

Who the fuck are you two!? What are you doing in my-

[Eva looks around Angels room and sees Kiara and Faythe staring at her. Kiara gets a furious expression on her face and walks up to Eva. She glares at Eva while Faythe gets back with an equally furious expression on her face.]

KIARA

I think the question is who are you and what the hell are you doing in Angel's bed?!

Script Part 1

PARALIFE

SCENE 1

INT. CELL IN THE PIT OF THE ABYSS 

[Cyeon sat in his cell. The light from the crack shining on the lower half of his face highlighting his crazed smile. He reaches out with his hand and touches the crack feeling freedom.]

CYEON (V.O)

After all these eons, I can finally be one with time and space. The time has been so confusing that I cannot remember my Pantheon. They are all traitors. Jealous of how strong I was. I let them trap me, but this game has gone on long enough. 

[Cyeon placed his index and middle finger in the crack and attempt to open it wider. Electricity shocks him.]

CYEON

Still to weak...even this affects me. 

[Cyeon sits back and thinks  measuring his level of powers. He shakes his head in annoyance.]

CYEON(V.O)

I am not at full power. It will take some time before I can break free. What can I do to pass the time?

[Cyeon closes his eyes, tilts his head toward the crack and listens.]

EXT. WORLD "A" BOARDMAN OH STREET- AFTERNOON - CONTINUOUS

[Evangeline "Angel" Gautier walked with two of her closest friends, Kiara Parthenopaeus and Faythe Malik. Angel shakes her head laughing.]

ANGEL

You two are crazy.

FAYTHE

Hey, a show about two women coming up with outrageous dares and doing them is brilliant!

[Faythe exaggeratedly moved her hands as she spoke.]

KIARA

I know, I came up with it.

ANGEL

What about me? What would I be doing?

FAYTHE

Bringing us Oreo's and juice of life.

KIARA

No we need inspiration every now and then. Comic relief is important when it comes to television.

[The three laugh as the arrive at Angel's house. Angel unlocks the door and they walk inside.] 

FAYTHE

Hey, Angel do you have any snacks?

ANGEL

No, only yogurt.

FAYTHE

Can I have some?

ANGEL

I only have a few left. Sorry, I eat them while on the way to school.

KIARA

Come on. don't be selfish. Give her one.

[Angel sighs and walks to the kitchen. She stops and looks as a photo of her mother. She smiles sadly at it and walks by.]

INT. WORLD "B" NEW YORK CITY. EVA'S APPARTMENT - AFTERNOON- CONTINUOUS

[Evangeline "Eva" Gautier slams the door of her and her mothers bedroom. She stomps her feet in frustration and pounds the door with her fist then locks the door.]

MOTHER (O.S)

Why are you so angry with me? Why won't you talk to me Eva?

EVA

Because you won't leave me alone!

MOTHER(O.S)

I'm your mom, I'm supposed to be looking out for you! Your conman of a father gets worse every year. He owes too much money to dangerous people. Stay away from him!

EVA

Don't talk about my dad like that! Dad cares more for me then you do you cold hearted bitch!

[Eva walks towards her bed and looks under it finding her box of money she grabs a few hundred and puts it in her jacket pocket and zips it shut. Her furious expression is clearly visible in the light from the window behind her.]

EVA (V.O)

Dad you bastard I told you to lay off the gambling! I hate that he has dirt on me. This should tide him over for a while, gotta keep his mouth shut. If the cops find out about what I did...I'm toast.

MOTHER(O.S)

I love you! Your father is the one using you! Can't you tell the difference?

EVA (V.O)

Oh yes, I can.

[Eva walks towards the window. She opens is and climbs down the fire escape.]

INT. CELL IN THE PIT OF THE ABYSS -CONTINUOUS 

[Cyeon laughed as he saw the parallel versions of the girl known as Evangeline Gautier.]

Iorn Man

Well finally I "read" extremis. I couldn't remember the site Cliff mentioned so I watched the motion comic on Hulu. Now I loved both the movie and the comic. There were distinct differences between both but I would have to go with the movie in terms of favorites. However, I think the writers should have added more from the comic. I believe the adaptation is loose the writers kept some aspects and changed the rest. The Mandarin was an interesting twist and I loved that they added that. And keeping Dr. Krillian alive was an interesting twist however I think they should have left him dead. He was, in my mind to, cliche a villain. Though there was something bothering me from the comic. Wasn't it mentioned that 2 vials were taken? That they had tree vials of extremis? Was I misunderstanding something? If there was really three what happened to the other vial? If so maybe I will start reading the comics I'm curious as to what Tony will face in the future now that he is truly Iorn Man.

Blade Runner

Hello, well personally I was frustrated beyond belief when I finished  Do Androids Dream of Electric sheep. However I wasn't so much with Blade Runner. I think the film is more of a loose adaptation then a intermediate. Too much was taken away and changed for it to be otherwise in my opinion. There where only a few characters and parts that were kept. The location, the way characters act, the added scenes and substituted terms. The film is an analogy as through out the film is is in Rick's point of view. The way the film was made it ended with a happy ending in a sense, the Replicants died however we are left with the confusion on whether or not Rick himself is a replicant as well, while in the book we are positive that Rick was human as he went through the life changing experience that was the day he met Reachel. Personally I didn't like either the book or the movie, mainly due to the drastic changed the film showed and the never ending frustration I got from the book.
